Live Chat 3 21.08.2017 2377 Support Status: Open Solution: No doriarn

Hello, I tried adding the live chat widget code into wordpress footer "cutom html" widget, but it doesn't show, I used the same code into a blank html page (not in wordpress) and the chat appears fine. So, can you tell me if there is a way to add the live chat widget into wordpress without using any iframe? Thanks,

Thank you for using our support tickets.

Please make sure the code does not get modified by wordpress.

You can also add to the code into the footer.php file.

    Hello,

I have managed to add the chat widget using the footer child theme method, however, it seems there is an issue displaying the chat widget, as some of the files are loaded on non-secure link for a slide-up image

    http://domain.com/chat/upload/files/slideimg/wom_on.png

and it's ruining my green bar secure connection of the website I'm adding the chat widget, because the website is loading content from a non-secure location.

Note: I have an active SSL certificate on the domain I have installed chat3, I changed the chat widget code to https:// to call the .js files, but the script somehow still loads the image on a http:// connection.

There are many approaches to force SSL urls from .htaccess file but I would like to get your input first,

    Please advise.

    Thank you,

    Good Morning,

please change your chat to ssl mode as well. More information can be found here: https://jakweb.ch/faq/a/171/ssl-certificate

After modifying your include/db.php file please copy and paste the embed code again to make sure the call for the files are in https.

    Have a great day.
