Chat Ringing Long After User Gone

Do you happen to know why the Chat Continues to ring everytime I navigate to dashboard to live chat page, pretty much to any page "Long After The Visitor That It Was Suppose To Ring For Is Gone?"

Its quite confusing and annoying, to login in and the system is ringing making you think someone is there, yet no one is?

    In your operator profile, how many times did you set the ringing count?

    I saw that the min amount it can "be" set is 3...so I havent touched it. Besides, that's not really the issue. A person, I, would want it to "ring" if I am away...and "someone is there" the issue is, why does it do it when the visitor or person has "Left" or "gone away" I am getting the rings I should get for a Person who is there, when no one is there is what I am saying.

    I totally understand you. We have run some tests and found the bug within a file in the operator panel. It does not happen when visiting the live chat section but on all other pages.

    We will release a fix for this asap. Thank you for your report.

    No problem. But it does happen for "me" any way, when visiting the Live Chat page in admin

    Pretty much anywhere in admin, where the page refreshes or starts new session, it does it. Anyway, atleast you all are aware of it now. Will be looking for the fix. Though I reported something a week ago and I dont think I have been updated on that fix, so...I guess my next question is, How Do I Know When You Fix? I clicked my updates button and says last was 1.4 so...I have to assume my last report is still not fixed? am I right?

    That ticket is only 4 days old and Jérôme did tell you we will improve it. We don't know if that will also be within the next quick release.

    We will release a quick fix in between the next major release, so you can expect a release with version 1.4.1 within the next couple of days.
