Live Chat 3 03.02.2017 2206 Support Status: Closed Solution: Yes kevinrowe333

Hello,

On desktop computers the livechat works perfect, the icons are perfectly set on the left side of the screen at the bottom and works fine,

However on the mobile view the icon is not the same as the desktop view and also the icon is floating in the upper right side of the screen blocking some of my website information, plus when the user click on the icon, the chat windows cover the website entirely,

the chat somehow doesnt seems very responsive with the mobile view, please tell me how to address this issue, my website launches on the 4th of which is 2 days from now.

Thank you

(btw, so far this is the best script i have ever come across where live chat is concerned.... thank you guys)

    Good Morning,

thank you very much for your feedback.

There are many different options to setup the client chat. On mobile browsers the chat will always open in a new tab/window to not cover the website. For for the button you could choose a smaller one and use the position options to place it where it covers no content on your website.

Should you have mainly mobile viewers I recommend the option (Slide Up / Buttons). Upload a small button that will float the position can be top/left, top/right, bottom/left, bottom/right, or you can use the slide up with the sub selection slide out and go for the small option.

In your chat widget you have many options to choose in case there is missing something please let me know.

    Have a great day
    Jérôme

where do i adjust which chat image show for the mobile user vesus which chat image shows on the desktop users. because right now both are showing different images,

whenever i tried to adjust using the slide up/down or the others, it only affects that of the desktop view and not that of the mobile view?

do you understand what am saying?

    Yes, I do understand.

The slide up / out chat is too big for mobile browsers therefore it will show a floating button on small screens.

For that upload a small button and select it under buttons. The position can also be set that way it won't hide any of your content.

    hey Jerome,

Thank you very much, I am figuring it out,

I must say this is by far the best self hosted chat script i have ever used,

    Great Job.

Plus when i mastered it, i may just buy the self hosted package and do a chat business, it looks interested.

I have setup the helpdesk as yet thou.
