We have released an emergency update for our products. Apple has published a new version of their browser and with this release they block everything what is not from the website itself.

The browser has just gone from very user friendly to the worst nightmare for web developers. However, of course it is good news for the protection of you and your visitors using Safari.

With this release we have made special code for the live chat to work again. This is only called in Safari and Cross Browser scenarios. However with this limitation of the Safari Browser we have some features that won't work at this point:

  • Slide Up Chat cannot be displayed, our modification will automatically show Pop Up chat for the Safari Browser only (no changes needed from your side)
  • Invitations on Safari in Cross Browser won't work at the moment

We work hard to make it all work again also on Safari, but it can take a while as we like to have a solid solution.

Important: It only effects Safari Browser from Apple and only in Cross Browser scenarios.

Update manually only, you will need to update manually to version 1.0.8 as described in the documentation. With Version 1.0.9 we have the Auto Updater back. In case you have problems to update, please contact us we offer a free update for all Cloud Desk 3 License holders due the Auto Updater error.
